Five of our Favorite Wedding Venues in Palm Springs

Whether you’re exploring Pioneertown, trekking through Joshua Tree National Park, dancing at Coachella music festival or grabbing a cocktail at a speakeasy in downtown Palm Springs, there’s a whole world to explore in the Palm Desert area. But there’s also this unspoken magic swirling around the area that is a concoction of beauty, mystery, and unwavering style. A stunning mountain backdrop, stark desert landscapes, rock formations and Dr. Seuss trees, eclectic venues, mid-century architecture and a touch of old Hollywood glam makes Palm Springs interesting, desirable and beautiful. Truly, a perfect California wedding destination.

We spend about half the year out in the desert for wedding season, Coachella and Stagecoach festivals, corporate retreats, Modernism Week and we see some unbelievable venues. We’re sharing our top five wedding venues for those looking for a traditional wedding gathering!

CASA CODY

Newly remodeled and one of the most fun wedding venues in Palm Springs, Casa Cody is the kind of place you’ll want to rent out with your entire wedding party crew; they have 29 rooms, many with fireplaces and patios! The lush, wandering gardens envelop additions to the original hotel among blossoming citrus trees. The Spanish hacienda-style hotel is perfect for an outdoor wedding and reception under the stars.

VILLA ROYALE

Spanning across three and half acres, Villa Royale’s vibrant accommodations sit surrounded by lush private grounds, multiple courtyards, three glistening pools and 33,000 square feet of sprawling, grassy terrace perfect for weddings, open-sky dinners and entertainment functions. Villa Royale channels eccentric history of the area with modern villas and geometric tiled courtyards, mid-century decor and vintage furniture, plus a sprawling lawn, perfect for your wedding celebration.

THE RUIN VENUE

Settled in the rocky terrain on the outskirts of Pioneertown and just beyond cell phone reception, you’re transported to a simple desert destination. Ceremonies are held in front of the beautiful rocks, iconic to the area and reception dinner is held under the twinkly lights and night sky. Once a home in the desert, but now forgotten, the ruins are left for a minimal and neutral vibe. With a stunning backdrop of the desert, the venue will give both you and your guests an immersive desert experience like no other.

KORAKIA

The historic petite resort is a 1.5-acre oasis in the heart of Palm Springs, comprised of the 1920s Moroccan hideaway created by artist Gordon Coutts and the Mediterranean villa next door. Together, they form a hidden oasis of gardens, pools, lounges and fountains among 28 Mediterranean and Moroccan bungalows, guesthouses and villas. Cross the grand threshold of our iconic Moorish archway into our sun-washed courtyards, redolent of citrus and jasmine flowers. With the stunning San Jacinto Mountains as your backdrop, your vows will be picturesque and unforgettable.

FREDERICK LOEWE ESTATE

The celebrity home retains a chic, Mid-century modern design emblematic of ‘50s Palm Springs, while having undergone updates for all modern conveniences. With glass walls, over 5,000 square feet of residential space, the spacious home offers unparalleled panoramic views from nearly every room. The sprawling grounds of the estate make it an idyllic wedding venue, event space, or just a place to kick back and relax. Set on a boulder strewn hillside, the estate offers unparalleled, jaw-dropping, 360-degree views of the San Jacinto Mountains, Coachella Valley below and lavishly landscaped grounds and paths with over 100 olive trees, 33 palm trees and numerous citrus trees, flowers and cacti on the 3-acre property. Tour the property and you’ll find a semi-exclusive tennis court, a grotto style spa, a pool, waterfalls, sculptures and original artwork. From the early hours of the morning as the sun rises over the valley until the sun sets and the city lights sparkle alive, this estate offers the best vantage point in Palm Springs.
