IN THEIR OWN WORDS…

My passion for Wedding Planning started at just 12 years old when I attended a wedding in Turtle Bay, HI. I will never forget the first time I saw a wedding planner command the room with her iconic headset. My mom said I was absolutely hooked and by the end of the night she found me manning the photobooth station wearing her headset…

WHERE DO YOU FIND INSPIRATION:

My main source of inspiration comes from my long walks to the farmers market on Saturdays. I get my fix all within one hour: Neighborhood house shopping, taking note of the streetwear style, and the passion that comes from exploring all of the local small businesses.

TYPICAL DAY:

My days typically start bright and early with just enough time to stop by a new coffee shop I’ve been dying to try. After picking my album of the day, I am off to work at 7 am! I then change from heels to flip flops and head over to hot yoga to recharge. After yet another quick change, it’s time to cap the night at Clos Wine Shop and solve all the world’s problems with my bestie.

FAVORITE MEMORY IN THE KITCHEN:

I will never forget the first time I made soup from scratch. Unlike most seniors in college, I lived by myself in a loft. On this particular rainy Friday night, I took it upon myself to finally listen to Matthew McConaughey’s best-selling memoir, Greenlights. It wasn’t until I was finally sat down 2 hours later that I realized: “Wow, is this what grown ups do?” I can now proudly say I am the Martha Stewart of soups.

BEST PIECE OF ADVICE EVER RECEIVED:

I went to the mall for some retail therapy after getting rejected from a job. I opened up to the shoe salesman and he said to me: “Don’t think small and then expect big things to happen you.”
